HM Income Tax Preparation started in 2008 when our founders, Robert Haskell & Henry McCormick decided to partner up. Henry was looking to take on a partner after working tirelessly for 40 years between the Rhode Island Division of Taxation and operating his own firm after graduating with a degree in Accounting from Rhode Island College. At the time, Robert, his son-in-law, had been working in the Financial Services industry for 9 years after graduating from Providence College with a degree in Finance. The partnership was a good mix of both worlds. Since then, the firm has grown exponentially strictly through word of mouth advertising.
